Requirements for Course Credit

  1. Review course content – online text (included), textbook (obtained separately by participant), or online video (included).
  2. Obtain a score of 75% or higher on the course exam.
  3. Complete course evaluation.

Then an electronic copy of the certificate of completion will be emailed to the participant within one (1) hour which can be printed and downloaded. This certificate of completion is also stored in our records and can be retrieved in the future at no additional cost upon request.

If you do not pass the course exam on your first attempt, you may re-take the exam a second time at no additional cost. However, a fee may to be charged for subsequent attempts. At that point, requests to re-take the exam must be submitted in writing by the participant via the message form on the Contact page or email to info@cemobile.me.

Security

All pages, content, credit card, and transaction information is protected by the same level of security used by banks. CEmobile, LLC is certified level-1 PCI compliant.

Access to Course

There is no expiration date for a course. However, some courses may be retired in the future. If this occurs, you will be given the option to request a refund or an exchange for another course of equal or lesser value.

Request for Accommodation

Requests for accommodation may be submitted in writing by the participant via the message form on the Contact page or email to info@cemobile.me, or by telephoning our office at 1-805-394-8599. CEmobile, LLC  will respond to the participant in writing within five (5) business days.

Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your course for any reason, refunds are available in full if you request a refund within seven (7) days of purchase and prior to starting the exam for the course. Refund requests must be submitted in writing by the participant via the message form on the Contact page or email to info@cemobile.me.

Exchange Policy

If you are not satisfied with your course for any reason, exchanges are available within thirty (30) days of purchase for another course of equal or lesser value. Exchange requests must be submitted in writing by the participant via the message form on the Contact page or email to info@cemobile.me.

Grievance Procedure

CEmobile, LLC is fully committed to conducting all activities in strict conformance with the ethical standards for all relevant professional organizations (e.g., American Psychological Association, Association of Social Work Boards, National Board for Certified Counselor, etc.). CEmobile, LLC will comply with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content and in the treatment of program participants. The monitoring and assessment of compliance with these standards will be the responsibility of the academic committee (which includes licensed mental health professionals) and the program administrator at CEmobile, LLC.

While CEmobile, LLC goes to great lengths to assure fair treatment for all participants and attempts to anticipate problems, there will be occasional issues which come to the attention of CEmobile, LLC which requires intervention and/or action on the part of the program administrator. This procedural description (see below) serves as a guideline for handling such grievances.

  1. Complaint or grievance must be submitted in writing by participant via the message form on the Contact page (recommended) or email to Alden Hori, PhD, Program Adminstrator at info@cemobile.me, or telephone 805-394-8599.
  2. Complaint or grievance is reviewed by the academic committee and program administrator at CEmobile, LLC consisting of:
    • Psychologist
    • Social Worker
    • Marriage and Family Therapist
  3. Issue is discussed.
  4. Fair procedures and due process are part of the policy. Some type of a hearing must be provided, giving the participant the opportunity to support her/his allegations by arguments however brief and, if need be, by proof however informal.
  5. The decision is made democratically.
  6. Information is shared and utilized by CEmobile staff to improve future courses.
  7. CEmobile, LLC responds to the participant in writing within five (5) business days.
