Target Audience: Social workers whose objective is to complete an ethics course based on the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics and related ethical standards. This course does not cover state-specific laws.
Course Description: This course is based on the current version of the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics that was revised in 2018 which addresses the purpose of the NASW Code of Ethics, the ethical principles, and the ethical standards. In addition, this course includes the NASW Standards and Indicators for Cultural Competence in Social Work Practice.

A New York State LMSW or LCSW is responsible for complying with New York laws, rules and regulations.
