Dr. DePanfilis is the Associate Dean for Research and an Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she teaches social work practice and child welfare research courses in the Master of Social Work program, as well as research seminars in the doctoral program. She is also director of the Institute for Human Services Policy and codirector of the Center for Families, an interdisciplinary partnership between the schools of social work and medicine and the department of pediatrics.
